how did CONVERSE improve your steps

LOT OF TEENAGERS TODAY(including me) ARE FOND OF WEARING CONVERSE SHOES WITH DIFFERENT COLORS OF SHOE LACE.
.
SOME OF US HAVE MORE THAN TEN PARES OF THIS SHOES. WELL LET'S HAVE A VIVID PICTURE OF

               Converse, A History

Rupert Grint is a pretty popular guy. He is followed by loads of people everywhere he goes, but who follows him past the camera flashes and screaming fans? His Converse, of course! Converse shoes are one of the many great fashion trends that Rupert has influenced. So what is all the fuss about these shoes and where did this famous footwear originate?
Marquis Mills Converse founded the Converse Rubber Shoe Company in 1908.  The plant was first located in Malden, Massachusetts, USA and originally produced winter footwear for both men and women. Soon after, the company started producing canvas tennis shoes. Two years after the company began; it was already shipping out over 4,000 shoes daily!
Finally, in 1915 Converse began producing athletic tennis shoes. In 1917, the company would see a major turning point in both design and production with the introduction of the Converse All-Star. The All-Star was made famous in 1921, by basketball player Chuck Taylor, whose signature was added to the shoe a year later. Chuck promoted the shoes until his death in 1969. The shoes would go on long after his death, being labeled, “Chucks”,  “Connies”, “Convics”, “Verses”, “Chuckers”,”Converse”, “Chuckies”, “Chuckie T’s”, or “Chucker Boots” or just “Chuck Taylors”.
In 1941, Converse started gearing their products toward the military. Aside from manufacturing footwear, they also began producing apparel, boots, parkas, rubber protective suits, and ponchos for pilots and troops. By the 70s, Converse shoes had been adopted as the all-American shoe, and were deeply ingrained in pop culture and traditional sportswear. The 1970s is also when the company bought the rights to Jack Purcell sneakers from B.F. Goodrich. The Jack Purcell design is second in recognition only to the Converse All-Star.

In 1974, Converse introduced the One Star, a low-cut performance shoe designed for basketball. Surfers and skaters later adopt the design as an extreme lifestyle shoe. Converse was named the Official Sponsor of the 1984 Olympic Games. The U.S. men’s basketball team won a gold medal while wearing Converse.
With new companies and designs taking over Converse found themselves losing sales, and were even booted out of their position as the official shoe of the NBA. Many competitors such as Nike, Adidas and Reebok were selling thousands of newly designed shoes a day. This rise in competition along with some bad business decisions lead to the company filing bankruptcy in 2001. The last factory based in the United States closed later that year and all Converse shoes sold in America where produced by other countries such as China and Indonesia
When all had seemed lost one of the companies competitors made Converse and offer they could not refuse.  On July 9, 2003, the company accepted a $305 million purchase offer from Nike to buy the Converse name.

SO WHAT MAKES CONVERSE SO GREAT?  IS IT BECAUSE THEY ARE AN ICON THAT HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE THE TURN OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY? IS IT BECAUSE SO MANY FAMOUS PEOPLE WEARING THEM AND HAVE DONE FOR YEARS? IS IT THE FACT THAT YOU CAN DOODLE ON THEM? OR MAYBE THAT THEY COME IN SO MANY COLORS AND PATTERNS? ARE THEY JUST SO DARN COMFORTABLE THAT YOU COULD NOT STOP WEARING THEM IF YOU TRIED? WHAT IS THE RIGHT ANSWER?

ALL OF THEM ARE HAVING THE BEAUTY OF THE SHOES! CONVERS ADOPT TO THE PERSON WEARING THEM! THEY ARE MADE AND WILL SUIT MANY DIFFERENT STYLES AND PERSONALITIES, THAT IS WHY THEY ARE STILL GOING STRONG. SO GO ON, PUT YOUR ALL STARS ON!
